For seafood lovers, it can be hard to know which fish to eat. Fish are some of the only wild animals we consume on a mass scale. Nearly 90% of global marine fish stocks are now fully exploited or overfished. Alaska produces more wild seafood than all other states combined and accounts for about 60% of the nation’s commercial fisheries.
