Professional Dancer Lauren Taft



If you’ve seen Walk the Moon’s chart-topping music video for “Shut Up and Dance”, you know who Lauren Taft is. From the age of 4, Lauren grew up dancing at competition dance studio The Movement Center in Columbus Ohio. After graduating high school, she then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career professionally in dance. After attending a scholarship program at Millennium Dance Complex, and work study program at Edge performing arts center, she was soon after signed with Go 2 Talent Agency. It’s great to have Lauren on “The Tech of Sports” this week.

Weil Academy Director and Founder Mark Weil opened the Weil Tennis Academy in Ojai, California in June of 1997, becoming the first coach to open a full time, boarding tennis academy in the heart of Southern California. Since opening 13 years ago, Weil Academy has trained many junior world champions including former ITF #1 Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria, and many top professionals such as World #4 and 2009 Australian Open Semifinalist Vera Zvonereva of Russia & Top 50 Sesil Karatancheva of Kazakhstan.
