From the shoes we wear on our feet to the high definition televisions in our living room, wearable devices, the sports universe is a breeding ground for technology. Writer and Photographer Rick Limpert will examine this each week on The Tech of Sports – With guests which include athletes, inventors and journalists that cover the intersection of sports and technology.

Having won funding from the NFL for its test, Kevin can shed light on why current concussion protocols often fail and why more science must be applied to the game in order to keep athletes safe. He can also discuss how Quanterix’ test works and can ensure that no concussions go undiagnosed, helping to prevent continued health problems for athletes, including second impact syndrome and diseases like CTE and Alzheimer’s.
